Tent footprint 2022 :
1. Best tent footprint #1

Flysheets are great for tents, beaches, picnics, camping and sporting events. It can also be tied as a sun or rain shade. This is a must-have for all outdoor activities.
A ground sheet can be placed under the tent to create an extra layer of moisture.
Our Original Review :
This has a good footprint but is not as light as advertised.I purchased the 95 x 83 size. It weighs 1 pound, but is actually 2 ounces heavier. It’s not a big deal, but I chose this one because I intend to use it for backpacking where every gram matters, and especially because it weighs more than others.

This tarp fits perfectly under my Gazelle T4 as a floor mat. It’s lightweight, yet durable and waterproof. The only drawback is that it is difficult to put it back in the bag. I wish the bag was bigger. It’s very thin, so it doesn’t add bulk to your tent, so you can even pack it with your tent.
-
This tarpaulin is flexible in its uses and functions. Not the lightest, but definitely worth the weight. I use it all the time at my kids’ sporting events, camping, and hunting. Eyelets and loops make it easy to set up pegs, ropes and trekking poles.
-
It looks well made and measures 3″ x 5″. With stuff sack. I bought two just in case a second person came over or to keep my gear off the wet floor in my front yard. 2 Fits just right in one of the included storage pouches. I haven’t tested the waterproof performance yet, but I like it so far.
-
I haven’t tried the winter “impregnation” yet (I think it will be fine), but the light quality and small packing space are excellent. I plan to use the tarp to cover the top opening of my camping portable changing tent and toilet tent, so I’m sure the rainproof layer will help if it rains.
-
This is a great alternative to expensive Sylnylon tarpaulins. It’s tough enough to be used as a tarp, ground sheet, windbreak, water catcher, or even as a waterproof cover for blankets and backpacks in bad weather. Good budget friendly kit.
2. Best tent footprint #2

An additional tent tarpaulin not only provides additional waterproofing, but also acts as a base under the tent to prevent wear and tear.Insulating tent pads are a great idea to protect your investment. There is no mistake. Definitely a choice for extending the life of your tent.
Sturdy floorboards are often overlooked, but they make a big difference when setting up your campsite. Constructed of ripstop 210T poly with a superior waterproof coating, it is not only lightweight but also waterproof and high performing.
Our Original Review :
A tarp of this footprint is pretty good for the money and works decently well.I wish it was a little closer to tent size, but it works. The footprint is slightly larger than a tent. I wouldn’t mind if it was a “porch” floor, but it isn’t. The tabs don’t line up exactly with the tent and require some fumbling to get it to work, but it works.

Brought this camp to Big Sur – knew the ground was dusty and wanted to keep the tent as clean as possible, plus a tent steak holding down the tarp was awesome. A great purchase and I look forward to using it again on my next adventure.
-
I bought this for my Clostnature 1 person tent. This tent footprint is the perfect size, lightweight and fits in your bag along with the tent. I’m not worried about the durability of this footprint. Like all his 1 person tents, I had to buy it as part of the tent.
-
This is a great base for the specified tent, fits perfectly, is easy to carry and protects the base of the tent.Must fit just below the edge of the tent to keep water out And it keeps the tent floor dry, so it’s good for rain.
-
This footprint is the perfect size for a one person tent and has proven to be reliable to this day. I’ve probably used it with my tent about 10 times and it’s held up well. It folds nicely and even packs into a tent.
-
Not much to say except that it worked as intended and I didn’t have any moisture issues on the floor after it rained recently. All tent holes were perfectly matched.
3. Best tent footprint #3

The footprint is made of 20D nylon fabric, which is durable enough to prevent abrasion and punctures. The fabric is also treated with double silicone treatment, and the waterproofness is equivalent to PU8000MM. In other words, it can remain waterproof even when filled with water.
It can be stored in a compact size and comes with a drawstring pouch that is convenient for carrying and traveling.
Our Original Review :
This was a great replacement for the backordered Big Agnes footprint. I’ve used it 5 times and this footprint is pretty durable. The sharp rocks bother me, so be careful when building other campsites. I use it for backpacking and need to carry light items so I appreciate the light weight. Definitely worth a try for your next camping trip.

Don’t let the cheap price fool you. I purchased this groundsheet and cut it down to size for my Tarp Tent Moment DW. I have to say I was very impressed with his 20D material for quality and light weight. Of course, it’s ripstop nylon, so it’s hard to tear. It is also waterproof. I am happy with this purchase. If I had known about these groundsheets/tarps before, I would have purchased them for other tents I have had in the past.
-
It fits perfectly in the Marmot Tunsten UL 4P tent and is very light. I even considered buying the Tyvek and leaving my own footprint, but it fits so well and is light enough that it’s not worth the hassle. Great footprint!
-
I have confidence in this tarpaulin after unpacking it for the first time. She looked too skinny to function. But my old style girlfriend as a Kelty Trail Ridge 3 footprint she was impressed after 10+ nights use!Completely waterproof and strong enough. And quiet! After folding and rolling it up, I had no trouble putting it back into the storage bag. Great product.
-
good product. I used it as a ground sheet for my Eureka Solitaire tent and it worked perfectly. It was about 6 inches shorter, but Eureka doesn’t make Solitaire footprints, so I can’t complain about that.
-
I haven’t gone camping with this tent yet, but I installed it in my living room. I think it’s the best tent for camping in all seasons. This is my first tent with a rainfly, but I think it will be a very good tent in the winter.
4. Best tent footprint #4

The camping tarp is made of high quality 420D oxford fabric and professionally waterproofed to ensure durability. Protect yourself and your belongings from moisture.
Unfold the camping tarpaulin and spread it on the ground to form the base of your tent. Secure with pegs or guy ropes through eyelets in metal grommets when used as an awning.
It can be stored compactly when not in use. Comes with a convenient storage bag for carrying or traveling.
Our Original Review :
These are great lightweight tarps that serve multiple purposes. I am using overlanding. Green color is great. I also use it at work and share it with my colleagues. They didn’t think thin cloth-like products could be waterproof. These tarps are a win!
Customer Review :
-
This groundsheet was durable and the dimensions were perfect. It protected my tent and kept water from seeping through. The only drawback is weight. It’s not “ultralight”.
-
A few minor issues with sloppy stitching and I didn’t stress the eyelets too much, but the fabric seemed sturdy enough and the sizing was accurate. The color is certainly a striking blue, so I used it as a base cloth. I would be happy if you could.
-
This was an after trip purchase as we hike near beaches, forests and lakes. So far it’s been changed screens, changed tables, rest areas and shades. This is a 13 day trip after 4 days. worth it! A 5-year-old and a 2-year-old survived.
-
The footprint seems solid (you won’t know until you’ve used it a few times), but it’s very light and packs away nicely. We use the tent for kayak camping and car camping (traveling by plane with camping gear in your luggage), so packability is very important to me. This size looks good for our alpine mountaineering tents, but it seems to be of higher quality material than the ones the company makes.
-
This item is lightweight and comes with a carry bag. Plenty of grommets for tying if needed. I made the mistake of using it as an awning over my pool.I didn’t tie it at enough angles so it rained too much and it ripped in two grommets.Good product , I fixed it myself.
5. Best tent footprint #5

The waterproof tarpaulin is made of high-density 210D oxford ripstop fabric with leak-proof seams to effectively prevent water from entering the tarpaulin.
As a hammock canopy, tent pad, groundsheet, tarp shelter, parasol and picnic mat, this rain cover is essential for a variety of outdoor activities. With attached binding loops, you can come up with configurations that are suitable for different purposes in different situations. Keep one in the trunk of your car for the unexpected.
Our Original Review :
I use it as a shade under my pergola. I hung it at a slight angle so that the rain would run off. During heavy storms with heavy rains, it filled with large amounts of water. With at least 10-15 gallons of rainwater he made two bags. It didn’t tear or break with loopholes or straps. It held all water like a champ.

-
My son used this on a backcountry backpacking trip last week. It’s a really nice full-coverage tarp that lightly covers the entire hammock in a ridgeline fashion. It rained 3 nights on a trip that included a very large storm with heavy rain, but it kept him dry in all conditions, even if someone else with a more expensive tarp got their feet wet (or worse). Kept in pristine condition.Highly recommended!
-
I received this tarp yesterday, just in time for July 4th. It was installed on the beach and withstood wind speeds of 40 km/h. Eyelets and seams give a firm impression. Hope they hold up. I like that it’s light and easy to install. The only criticism is the storage bag. I don’t have extra space so I have to fold the tarp back up to the same size as it was originally.I think I store it in a separate bag or put it in a gallon zipper bag.
-
This tarpaulin folds very small, dries quickly and survived heavy rain for 3 days. I would recommend buying poles to match, but there was a tree to work with. The included pegs are of high quality. Recommended as a cheap alternative for campers.
-
As someone who sleeps on the floor most of my job and moves a lot of heavy backpacks, this product was lightweight and easy to pack and set up.I was caught in the middle of a rainstorm.Outside for long hours Highly recommended for people who like being in and don’t want to use a tent.
